Once you have decided how you would like to make your money online and have found the niche that you like and enjoy don't expect a sudden inflow of money and instant success. Online business works just like any other business and what you put in you get out.
That said who wants to get up early every morning and go slug it out for someone else and earn peanuts. There is huge amounts of money to be made online you just need to scoop a little up into your kitty to make you really wealthy.
Unfortunately most beginners make the same mistakes especially with affiliate marketing and try to sell money products. This is not a bad choice as there is a lot available for you to sell and plenty of tools but you need to know your way around as it is an extremely competitive area. With Market trading the beginners always get involved in Forex and geared trading and get hurt. Always remember you are trading against somebody else and that somebody may know more than you. If you decide on trading make sure you have a mentor or someone like myself to follow and look for products that will offer you some protection. Affiliate marketing is the easiest as it involves simply selling someone else s product and getting paid for it. Trouble is you need someone to sell it to and you need certain tools to work with. All this information and tools is available on this blog if you need it.
Loads of groups will entice you with 100% commissions but if you understand maths and a little economics you will see you are getting 33% as you only get every 3rd commission with most groups. Remember if you go with a group you will face many up sells and you will be expected to pay on a monthly basis. This is not a problem if you have loads of sales as you would have recurring income from your sales. I prefer to remain independent and help as many other independents as I can to success.
All the tools you need are available to work online and achieve success but you must decide what method you are going to use to reach your clients. Blogging,video,mailing list or all combined but be careful not to spread yourself to thin sometimes it is better to concentrate in one area. Try them all and see what works for you then hone in on that area or expertise. The same goes for your choice of product. You will make loads of mistakes embrace them and learn from them it will guide you in the direction you need to take in the end.

I have found that by reading all the mails has helped me to identify the good from the bad in an instant and this type of knowledge will always be useful to you.
